●The deity we dedicate this shrine to is the Great Bipolar God(the Great Morikiwami God)

 

Bipolar Shrine worships the Peaceful Spirit(Nigimi-Tama) and the Violent Spirit(Arami-Tama) of the Great Bipolar God(the Great Morokiwami-no-ookami) as a all-knowing god Who embodies both Ying and Yang "Bipolar" elements.

 

The Peaceful Spirit(Nigimi-Tama) is the embodiment of the gentle and calm spirits of the departed, and in contrary, the Violent Spirit(Arami-Tami)is the embodiment of the violent and destructive spirits.

 

The Violent(Ara) Spirit, when starting things anew(Ara), will at times display His authority, and at our Shrine we will soothe both Spirits, and will pray daily for Them to regain tranquility. After the name of the deity we dedicate this shrine to, it is said that the remission of mental illneses such as Bipolar Disorder(Manic-depressive illness), Depression and other Mood Disorders will be blessed with the realization of divine virtues.

 

You are welcome to come and worship with a "bowing twice, clapping hands twice, and bowing again" (nirei nihakushu ichirei) in the Worshipping place(Youhai-jyo) in the Main Shrine (Shougu) or at Aramatsuri-no-Miya on this homepage. We pray daily for your health in heart and stability in mind.
